CheckBodyScore

Editorial & Calculation Standards

Every CheckBodyScore tool follows a fixed production standard.

1. Formula sourcing

Calculators use formulas from published, authoritative references, for example the WHO/NIH BMI thresholds, the CKD-EPI 2021 creatinine equation, ACSM metabolic formulas, and IRS figures for tax tools. Sources are listed on each page and in structured data.

2. Methodology review

The Editorial Team checks each formula, calculation flow, and limitation set against its source reference. Health tools additionally follow a clinical-review step, with the reviewer and review date published on the page.

3. Limitations, always stated

Every page states what its tool can't do. We would rather show a caveat than a false precision.

4. Corrections

Report issues via the contact page. Corrections update the page, the structured data, and the review date.

5. Independence

Tools are free. We don't sell results, rank by sponsorship, or accept paid placements inside calculators.

6. Clinical & Expert Review Board

Health, medical, nutrition, and pregnancy tools are reviewed by the CheckBodyScore Clinical Review Board; fitness, lifestyle, and finance tools by the Expert Review Board. Each board verifies formulas, thresholds, and limitations against the cited primary sources before publication, and re-verifies on every content change.

Board members are credentialed professionals (physicians, registered dietitians, certified financial planners, and certified exercise professionals). Individual reviewer names, credentials, and review dates are published on each tool page as members sign, in the interim, reviews are attributed to the board entity itself, never to unnamed individuals. Members have no financial interest in the tools they review.
